A Microsoft MVP, Tony Whitter has worked as a software developer, consultant and trainer for over 30 years, including four years as the Head of Technology for a multinational software corporation. He now runs Whitter Technology, a .NET development, consultancy and training firm based in Europe. Tony has authored a popular series of .NET training courses, trained numerous developers, spoken at major international conferences and worked closely with Microsoft on Visual Studio 2005. More recent projects include the creation of e-learning content for the Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 and 6.x Developer Resource Kits and client development using Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) and Silverlight.
Please note: The demonstration source code requires Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 Professional Edition or better (not Express), the Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.0 Professional SDK, the Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional DTK and either Microsoft ActiveSync 4.5 (Windows XP) or Windows Mobile Device Center 6.1 (Windows Vista / Windows 7). Visual Studio 2008 Service Pack 1 is highly recommended.
